The REAP Academy is an educational program designed to assist students who have not met success at their home campus due to discipline related issues or serious violation of school policies.
REAP provides a safe and effective learning environment for all students.
REAP teaches students how to function successfully on their home campuses and to guide them to be responsible citizens who exhibit appropriate behavior and academic skills.
REAP provides students an opportunity for credit recovery in lieu of expulsion.
The REAP Academy program is based on the Boys Town Behavior Modification Model. This model teaches acceptable social behaviors that will prepare students for success in life.
COMPUTER-ASSISTED LEARNING AND ASSESSMENT
REAP Academy utilizes the computer program Odysseyware to assist the students in credit recovery.
CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION
The primary method of instruction is performed by State-certified teachers in a classroom environment. A low student-to-teacher ratio offers students more individualized instruction, helping them in credit recovery.
