WHAT IS REAP ACADEMY?

The REAP Academy is an educational program designed to assist students who have not met success at their home campus due to discipline related issues or serious violation of school policies.

WHAT ARE REAP ACADEMY GOALS?

  • REAP provides a safe and effective learning environment for all students.
  • REAP teaches students how to function successfully on their home campuses and to guide them to be responsible citizens who exhibit appropriate behavior and academic skills.
  • REAP provides students an opportunity for credit recovery in lieu of expulsion.

WHICH STUDENTS CAN BENEFIT FROM REAP ACADEMY?

REAP serves students grades 9 – 12.

WHICH SCHOOL DISTRICTS BENEFIT FROM REAP?

REAP Academy serves the Bentonville and Rogers School Districts.

WHERE IS REAP ACADEMY LOCATED?

The REAP Academy is located in Rogers, Arkansas at 120 S 5th Street.

WHAT IS TAUGHT IN THE ACADEMIC PROGRAM?

  • SOCIAL SKILLS

The REAP Academy program is based on the Boys Town Behavior Modification Model.  This model teaches acceptable social behaviors that will prepare students for success in life.

  • COMPUTER-ASSISTED LEARNING AND ASSESSMENT

REAP Academy utilizes the computer program Odysseyware to assist the students in credit recovery.

  • CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION

The primary method of instruction is performed by State-certified teachers in a classroom environment.  A low student-to-teacher ratio offers students more individualized instruction, helping them in credit recovery.
